Responsibilities:

Operates, maintains and tends to machine that packages product and other production equipment.
Transport, load, and receive product, raw materials, hoppers and equipment to and from shipping and warehousing areas directed by supervisor.
Count and record finished and rejected packaged product.
Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.
Regulate machine flow, speed, and temperature.
Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as paper and plastic bags, boxes, plastics wrap, pallets, slip sheet, labels, ink ribbons, inkjet ink and makeup fluids.
Clean packaging materials to prepare for product packaging.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Basic math.
Basic computer skills.
