Description:
Seeking experienced applicants for an assembler position in a repetitive manufacturing shop environment.
As an assembler you will be responsible for assembling and constructing various components and systems according to production orders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify proper components for production orders.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Assemble wiring harnesses in accordance with wiring diagrams and test for proper continuity.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for the construction of assemblies, and the installation of those assemblies into the finished product.
- Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics in final assembly stage.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Perform functionality/continuity tests on completed assemblies.
- Perform full function tests of finished product.
- Troubleshoot systems, make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of experience in an assembly environment.
- Experience working with hydraulic equipment.
- Experience working with electrical and control wiring.
- Must have proficiency at reading drawings (blueprints).
- Must provide own tools.
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
- Capable of lifting at least 35 lbs.
- Experience operating a jib crane.
- Experience operating an overhead crane.
